Expressions of interest
A possible DA62 equity group
We're looking into whether there's enough interest for a group of around 10-12 pilots to buy a Diamond DA62 together. It could be based at Redhill, Blackbushe, Fairoaks or Biggin Hill.
We're exploring the idea of buying a Diamond DA62 as a group of twelve. It's a seven-seat twin with Jet A diesel engines, FADEC and a Garmin G1000 flight deck. It has much of what we like about flying the DA40 NG, with the added range and flexibility of a twin. Fuel burn is around 20 litres per hour per engine in the cruise.
The aircraft could be based at Redhill, Blackbushe, Fairoaks or Biggin Hill.
The figures below are a first look at how the costs might work if split twelve ways, as we are at a very early stage of thinking about this.
This is entirely theoretical at this stage. No aircraft has been identified, no company formed and no money is being asked for. If it interests you please let Simon know and we will keep you posted as the idea develops.
