Welcome to the BirdAir Flying Group. We are a group of friendly pilots looking to share our passion for General Aviation with a modern, well equipped and maintained aircraft. We’re a non-equity flying group based at Redhill Aerodrome, Surrey. The group operates one of the most advanced single engine aircraft around: a 2016 Diamond DA40 New Generation!
Simple Costs
The costs are kept simple and lower to encourage flying. The headline numbers are:
£180 monthly fee
£175 per hour wet

Friendly Group
Ideally pilots must have logged a minimum of 100 hours total time in a fixed wing piston aircraft to join the group (this can include PU/T time).
There is a flying school based at Redhill Aerodrome that assists with the required 5 hour conversion to glass cockpit/transition training for those that require it.
As well as an online booking system, we run a WhatsApp group and sharing flights is encouraged!
